Pallad. verse 2); of men, to take on lofty airs, behave arrogantly (2Ma 7:34; 3Ma 2:2, Anthol., Diodorus, Plutarch, others; (cf. Wetstein on Acts as below)); active for øÈâÇùÑ, to be tumultuous, to rage, Act 4:25 from Psa 2:1.
