Buttmann, § 135, 4), to draw one’s sword, Mar 14:47; Act 16:27 (Num 22:31; τήν ῥομφαιον, 23; Jdg 9:54, etc.). (Compare: ἀνασπάω, ἀποσπάω, διασπάω, ἐπισπάω, περισπάω.)
