Matthew 6:16

KJV: Moreover when ye fast be not as the hypocrites of a sad countenance for they disfigure their faces that they may appear unto men to fast Verily I say unto you They have their reward

GK: όταν δε νηστεύσητε μη γίνεσθε ώσπερ οι υποκριταί σκυθρωποί αφανίζουσι γαρ τα πρόσωπα αυτών όπως φανώσι τοις ανθρώποις νηστεύοντες αμήν λέγω υμίν ότι απέχουσι τον μισθόν αυτών

Matthew 6:17

KJV: But thou when thou fastest anoint thine head and wash thy face

GK: συ δε νηστεύων άλειψαί σου την κεφαλήν και το πρόσωπόν σου νίψαι

Matthew 11:10

KJV: For this is of whom it is written Behold I send my messenger before thy face which shall prepare thy way before thee

GK: ούτος γαρ εστι περί ου γέγραπται ιδού εγώ αποστέλλω τον άγγελόν μου προ προσώπου σου ος κατασκευάσει την οδόν σου έμπροσθέν σου

Matthew 16:3

KJV: And in the morning foul weather to day for the sky is red and lowring hypocrites ye can discern the face of the sky but can ye not the signs of the times

GK: και πρωϊ σήμερον χειμών πυρράζει γαρ στυγνάζων ο ουρανός υποκριταί το μεν πρόσωπον του ουρανού γινώσκετε διακρίνειν τα δε σημεία των καιρών ου δύνασθε

Matthew 17:2

KJV: And was transfigured before them and his face did shine as the sun and his raiment was white as the light

GK: και μετεμορφώθη έμπροσθεν αυτών και έλαμψεν το πρόσωπον αυτού ως ο ήλιος τα δε ιμάτια αυτού εγένετο λευκά ως το φως

KJV: And when the disciples heard they fell on their face and were sore afraid

GK: και ακούσαντες οι μαθηταί έπεσον επί πρόσωπον αυτών και εφοβήθησαν σφόδρα

KJV: Take heed that ye despise not one of these little ones for I say unto you That in heaven their angels do always behold the face of my Father which is in heaven

KJV: And they sent out unto him their disciples with the Herodians saying Master we know that thou art true and teachest the way of God in truth neither carest thou for any for thou regardest not the person of men

GK: και αποστέλλουσιν αυτώ τους μαθητάς αυτών μετά των Ηρωδιανών λέγοντες διδάσκαλε οίδαμεν ότι αληθής ει και την οδόν του θεού εν αληθεία διδάσκεις και ου μέλει σοι περί ουδενός ου γαρ βλέπεις εις πρόσωπον ανθρώπων

KJV: And he went a little further and fell on his face and prayed saying O my Father if it be possible let this cup pass from me nevertheless not as I will but as thou
