a. properly: Luk 17:7; ποίμνην, 1Co 9:7.

b. tropically, α. to rule, govern: of rulers, τινα, Mat 2:6; Rev 2:27; Rev 12:5; Rev 19:15 (2Sa 5:2; Mic 5:6 (); , etc.; (cf.
