πλάτος, πλάτους, τό ((cf. πλάξ), from Herodotus down), breadth: Eph 3:18 (on which see μῆκος); Rev 21:16; carrying with it the suggestion of great extent, τῆς γῆς, opposed to the ends or corners of the earth, Rev 20:9; (for îÆøÀçÈá, Hab 1:6).
