KJV: Because that he had been often bound with fetters and chains and the chains had been plucked asunder by him and the fetters broken in pieces neither could any tame him

GK: διά το αυτόν πολλάκις πέδαις και αλύσεσι δεδέσθαι και διεσπάσθαι υπ΄ αυτού τας αλύσεις και τας πέδας συντετρίφθαι και ουδείς αυτόν ίσχυε δαμάσαι

Luke 8:29

KJV: For he had commanded the unclean spirit to come out of the man For oftentimes it had caught him and he was kept bound with chains and in fetters and he brake the bands and was driven of the devil into the wilderness

GK: παρήγγελλε γαρ τω πνεύματι τω ακαθάρτω εξελθείν από του ανθρώπου πολλοίς γαρ χρόνοις συνηρπάκει αυτόν και εδεσμείτο αλύσεσι και πέδαις φυλασσόμενος και διαρρήσσων τα δεσμά ηλαύνετο υπό του δαίμονος εις τας ερήμους
