μνήμη, μνήμης, ἡ (μνάομαι);
a. memory, remembrance;
b. mention: μνήμην ποιεῖσθαι τίνος, to remember a thing, call it to remembrance, 2Pe 1:15; the same expression occurs in Greek writings from Herodotus down, but in the sense of Latinmentionem facere, to make mention of a thing.
