a. a reed: Mat 11:7; Mat 12:20 (from Isa 42:3); Luk 7:24.
b. a staff made of a reed, a reed-staff (as in 2Ki 18:21): Matthew 27:29f, 48; Mar 15:19; Mar 15:36.
c. a measuring reed or rod: Rev 11:1; Rev 21:15 f (Eze 40:3-6; Eze 42:16-19).
