θραύω: perfect passive participle τεθραυσμένος; from (Herodotus), Aeschylus down, to break, break in pieces, shatter, smite through (Exo 15:6; Num 24:17, etc.; 2Ma 15:16): τεθραύσμενοι, broken by calamity (A. V. bruised), Luk 4:18 (19) from Isa 58:6 for øÀöåÌöÄéí. (Synonym: see ῤήγνυμι.)
