English retainer; Vanicek, p. 396; from Homer down), the Sept. for òÆáÆã, an attendant, servant: of God, spoken of Moses discharging the duties committed to him by God, Heb 3:5 as in Num 12:7; Jos 1:2; Jos 8:31; Jos 8:33 (Jos 9:4; Jos 9:6); Wis 10:16.
