ἔνδειξις, ἐνδειξεως, ἡ (ἐνδείκνυμι), demonstration, proof: i. e. manifestation, made in act, τῆς δικαιοσύνης, Rom 3:25 f; τῆς ἀγάπης, 2Co 8:24; equivalent to sign, evidence (A. V. evident token), ἀπωλείας, Php 1:28. (Plato, others.)
