δεκτός, δεκτή, δεκτόν (δέχομαι), accepted, acceptable: Luk 4:24; Php 4:18; τίνι, Act 10:35; the phrases καιρός δεκτός, 2Co 6:2 (Isa 59:8 for øÈöåï òÅú), and ἐνιαυτός δεκτός, Luk 4:19 (Isa 61:2 for øÈöåï ùÀÑðÇú), denote that most blessed time when salvation and the free favors of God profusely abound. (Exo 28:34; Isa 56:7 (etc.). Among secular authors used by Jamblichus, protr. symb. § 20, p. 350.)
