Qal Perfect 3 masculine singular הַדְּבָ֑שׁ ׳ ר Judg 14:9b out of the carcass he scraped the honey (see GFM); suffix וַיִרְדֵּהוּ אֶלכַֿפָּיו Judg 14:9 a he scraped it out into his palms; BuhlLex Du also עַליְֿדֵיהֶם ׳ ר Jer 5:31, namely, gifts, money, figurative for making gain (most I. רדה q. v.).
