לָּט, לָאט noun [masculine] secrecy, mystery; — absolute לָט 1Sam 18:22 + 2 t., לָאט Judg 4:21 plural suffix לָטֵיהֶם Exod 7:22 + 2 t.; לַהֲטֵיהֶם Exod 7:11always with בְּ:

1. בַּלָּט = secretly 1Sam 18:22; 1Sam 24:5; Ruth 3:7 so בַּלָּאט Judg 4:21.
2. בְּלָטֵיהֶם with their mysteries = enchantments (i. e. of חַרְטֻמֵּי מִצְרַיִם) Exod 7:22; Exod 8:3; Exod 8:14 = בְּלַהֲטֵיהֶם Exod 7:11 (all P ).
