Qal Perfect 3 masculine singular וְדָאַג consecutive 1Sam 9:5; 1Sam 10:2 2 feminine singular דָּאַגְתְּ Isa 57:11 Imperfect 3 masculine singular יִדְאָ֑ג Jer 17:8 אֶדְאַג Ps 38:19 Participle דֹּאֵג Jer 38:19, דֹּאֲגִים Jer 42:16 —

1. be anxious, concerned, with reference to, in behalf of, with לְ 1Sam 9:5; 1Sam 10:2 id. with מִן Jer 42:16 (famine personified); followed by מֵחַטָּאתִי Ps 38:19 be anxious, absolute Jer 17:8 (|| יָרֵא).

2. fear, dread, followed by accusative of person feared Isa 57:11 (|| יָרֵא) Jer 38:19 (where also followed by clause with פֶּן).
