KJV: And Jesse begat David the king and David the king begat Solomon of her of Urias

Matthew 2:1

KJV: Now when Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judaea in the days of Herod the king behold there came wise men from the east to Jerusalem

Matthew 2:2

KJV: Saying Where is he that is born King of the Jews for we have seen his star in the east and are come to worship him

Matthew 2:3

KJV: When Herod the king had heard he was troubled and all Jerusalem with him

GK: ακούσας δε Ηρώδης ο βασιλεύς εταράχθη και πάσα Ιεροσόλυμα μετ΄ αυτού

Matthew 2:9

KJV: When they had heard the king they departed and lo the star which they saw in the east went before them till it came and stood over where the young child was

GK: οι δε ακούσαντες του βασιλέως επορεύθησαν και ιδού ο αστήρ ον είδον εν τη ανατολή προήγεν αυτούς έως ελθών έστη επάνω ου ην το παιδίον

Matthew 5:35

KJV: Nor by the earth for it is his footstool neither by Jerusalem for it is the city of the great King

GK: μήτε εν τη γη ότι υποπόδιόν εστι των ποδών αυτού μήτε εις Ιεροσόλυμα ότι πόλις εστί του μεγάλου βασιλέως

KJV: And ye shall be brought before governors and kings for my sake for a testimony against them and the Gentiles

KJV: But what went ye out for to see A man clothed in soft raiment behold they that wear soft are in kings’ houses

GK: αλλά τι εξήλθετε ιδείν άνθρωπον εν μαλακοίς ιματίοις ημφιεσμένον ιδού οι τα μαλακά φορούντες εν τοις οίκοις των βασιλείων εισίν

Matthew 14:9

KJV: And the king was sorry nevertheless for the oath’s sake and them which sat with him at meat he commanded to be given

Matthew 17:25

KJV: He saith Yes And when he was come into the house Jesus prevented him saying What thinkest thou Simon of whom do the kings of the earth take custom or tribute of their own children or of strangers

KJV: Therefore is the kingdom of heaven likened unto a certain king which would take account of his servants

KJV: Tell ye the daughter of Sion Behold thy King cometh unto thee meek and sitting upon an ass and a colt the foal of an ass

Matthew 22:2

KJV: The kingdom of heaven is like unto a certain king which made a marriage for his son

Matthew 22:7

KJV: But when the king heard he was wroth and he sent forth his armies and destroyed those murderers and burned up their city

GK: και ακούσας ο βασιλεύς εκείνος ωργίσθη και πέμψας τα στρατεύματα απώλεσεν τους φονείς εκείνους και την πόλιν αυτών ενέπρησε

Matthew 22:11

KJV: And when the king came in to see the guests he saw there a man which had not on a wedding garment

GK: εισελθών δε ο βασιλεύς θεάσασθαι τους ανακειμένους είδεν εκεί άνθρωπον ουκ ενδεδυμένον ένδυμα γάμου

Matthew 22:13

KJV: Then said the king to the servants Bind him hand and foot and take him away and cast into outer darkness there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth

Matthew 25:34

KJV: Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand Come, ye blessed of my Father inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world

GK: τότε ερεί ο βασιλεύς τοις εκ δεξιών αυτού δεύτε οι ευλογημένοι του πατρός μου κληρονομήσατε την ητοιμασμένην υμίν βασιλείαν από καταβολής κόσμου

Matthew 25:40

KJV: And the King shall answer and say unto them Verily I say unto you Inasmuch as ye have done unto one of the least of these my brethren ye have done unto me

Matthew 27:11

KJV: And Jesus stood before the governor and the governor asked him saying Art thou the King of the Jews And Jesus said unto him Thou sayest

KJV: And when they had platted a crown of thorns they put upon his head and a reed in his right hand and they bowed the knee before him and mocked him saying Hail King of the Jews

Matthew 27:37

KJV: And set up over his head his accusation written THIS IS JESUS THE KING OF THE JEWS

Matthew 27:42

KJV: He saved others himself he cannot save If he be the King of Israel let him now come down from the cross and we will believe him

GK: άλλους έσωσεν εαυτόν ου δύναται σώσαι ει βασιλεύς Ισραήλ εστι καταβάτω νυν από του σταυρού και πιστεύσομεν επ΄ αυτώ

Mark 6:14

KJV: And king Herod heard for his name was spread abroad and he said That John the Baptist was risen from the dead and therefore mighty works do shew forth themselves in him

Mark 6:22

KJV: And when the daughter of the said Herodias came in and danced and pleased Herod and them that sat with him the king said unto the damsel Ask of me whatsoever thou wilt and I will give thee

Mark 6:25

KJV: And she came in straightway with haste unto the king and asked saying I will that thou give me by and by in a charger the head of John the Baptist

GK: και εισελθούσα ευθέως μετά σπουδής προς τον βασιλέα ητήσατο λέγουσα θέλω ίνα μοι δως εξαυτής επί πίνακι την κεφαλήν Ιωάννου του βαπτιστού

Mark 6:26

KJV: And the king was exceeding sorry for his oath’s sake and for their sakes which sat with him he would not reject her

GK: και περίλυπος γενόμενος ο βασιλεύς διά τους όρκους και τους συνανακειμένους ουκ ηθέλησεν αυτήν αθετήσαι

Mark 6:27

KJV: And immediately the king sent an executioner and commanded his head to be brought and he went and beheaded him in the prison

GK: και ευθέως αποστείλας ο βασιλεύς σπεκουλάτωρα επέταξεν ενεχθήναι την κεφαλήν αυτού ο δε απελθών απεκεφάλισεν αυτόν εν τη φυλακή

Mark 13:9

KJV: But take heed to yourselves for they shall deliver you up to councils and in the synagogues ye shall be beaten and ye shall be brought before rulers and kings for my sake for a testimony against them

GK: βλέπετε δε υμείς εαυτούς παραδώσουσιν γαρ υμάς εις συνέδρια και εις συναγωγάς δαρήσεσθε και επί ηγεμόνων και βασιλέων αχθήσεσθε ένεκεν εμού εις μαρτύριον αυτοίς

Mark 15:2

KJV: And Pilate asked him Art thou the King of the Jews And he answering said unto him Thou sayest

GK: και επηρώτησεν αυτόν ο Πιλάτος συ ει ο βασιλεύς των Ιουδαίων ο δε αποκριθείς είπεν αυτώ συ λέγεις

Mark 15:9

KJV: But Pilate answered them saying Will ye that I release unto you the King of the Jews

GK: ο δε Πιλάτος απεκρίθη αυτοίς λέγων θέλετε απολύσω υμίν τον βασιλέα των Ιουδαίων
