Matthew 3:15

KJV: And Jesus answering said unto him Suffer it to be so now for thus it becometh us to fulfil all righteousness Then he suffered him

GK: αποκριθείς δε ο Ιησούς είπε προς αυτόν άφες άρτι ούτω γαρ πρέπον εστίν ημίν πληρώσαι πάσαν δικαιοσύνην τότε αφίησιν αυτόν

Matthew 4:11

KJV: Then the devil leaveth him and behold angels came and ministered unto him

GK: τότε αφίησιν αυτόν ο διάβολος και ιδού άγγελοι προσήλθον και διηκόνουν αυτώ

Matthew 4:20

KJV: And they straightway left nets and followed him

GK: οι δε ευθέως αφέντες τα δίκτυα ηκολούθησαν αυτώ

KJV: And they immediately left the ship and their father and followed him

GK: οι δε ευθέως αφέντες το πλοίον και τον πατέρα αυτών ηκολούθησαν αυτώ

Matthew 5:24

KJV: Leave there thy gift before the altar and go thy way first be reconciled to thy brother and then come and offer thy gift

GK: άφες εκεί το δώρόν σου έμπροσθεν του θυσιαστηρίου και ύπαγε πρώτον διαλλάγηθι τω αδελφώ σου και τότε ελθών πρόσφερε το δώρόν σου

Matthew 5:40

KJV: And if any man will sue thee at the law and take away thy coat let him have cloke also

GK: και τω θέλοντί σοι κριθήναι και τον χιτώνά σου λαβείν άφες αυτώ και το ιμάτιον

Matthew 6:12

KJV: And forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors

GK: και άφες ημίν τα οφειλήματα ημών ως και ημείς αφίεμεν τοις οφειλέταις ημών

Matthew 6:14

KJV: For if ye forgive men their trespasses your heavenly Father will also forgive you

GK: εάν γαρ αφήτε τοις ανθρώποις τα παραπτώματα αυτών αφήσει και υμίν ο πατήρ υμών ο ουράνιος

Matthew 6:15

KJV: But if ye forgive not men their trespasses neither will your Father forgive your trespasses

GK: εάν δε μη αφήτε τοις ανθρώποις τα παραπτώματα αυτών ουδέ ο πατήρ υμών ο ουράνιος αφήσει τα παραπτώματα υμών

Matthew 7:4

KJV: Or how wilt thou say to thy brother Let me pull out the mote out of thine eye and behold a beam in thine own eye

GK: η πως ερείς τω αδελφώ σου άφες εκβάλω το κάρφος από του οφθαλμού σου και ιδού η δοκός εν τω οφθαλμώ σου

KJV: And he touched her hand and the fever left her and she arose and ministered unto them

KJV: But Jesus said unto him Follow me and let the dead bury their dead

GK: ο δε Ιησούς είπεν αυτώ ακολούθει μοι και άφες τους νεκρούς θάψαι τους εαυτών νεκρούς

Matthew 9:2

KJV: And behold they brought to him a man sick of the palsy lying on a bed and Jesus seeing their faith said unto the sick of the palsy Son be of good cheer thy sins be forgiven thee

GK: και ιδού προσέφερον αυτώ παραλυτικόν επί κλίνης βεβλημένον και ιδών ο Ιησούς την πίστιν αυτών είπε τω παραλυτικώ θάρσει τέκνον αφέωνταί σοι αι αμαρτίαι σου

Matthew 9:5

KJV: For whether is easier to say sins be forgiven thee or to say Arise and walk

GK: τι γαρ εστιν ευκοπώτερον ειπείν αφέωνταί σοι αι αμαρτίαι η ειπείν έγειραι και περιπάτει

Matthew 9:6

KJV: But that ye may know that the Son of man hath power on earth to forgive sins then saith he to the sick of the palsy Arise take up thy bed and go unto thine house

GK: ίνα δε ειδήτε ότι εξουσίαν έχει ο υιός του ανθρώπου επί της γης αφιέναι αμαρτίας τότε λέγει τω παραλυτικώ εγερθείς άρόν σου την κλίνην και ύπαγε εις τον οίκόν σου

Matthew 12:31

KJV: Wherefore I say unto you All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men but blasphemy the Ghost shall not be forgiven unto men

GK: διά τούτο λέγω υμίν πάσα αμαρτία και βλασφημία αφεθήσεται τοις ανθρώποις η του πνεύματος βλασφημία ουκ αφεθήσεται τοις ανθρώποις

Matthew 12:32

KJV: And who soever speaketh a word against the Son of man it shall be forgiven him but who soever speaketh against the Holy Ghost it shall not be forgiven him neither in this world neither in the to come

GK: και ος εάν είπη λόγον κατά του υιού του ανθρώπου αφεθήσεται αυτώ ος δ΄ αν είπη κατά του πνεύματος του αγίου ουκ αφεθήσεται αυτώ ούτε εν τω νυν αιώνι ούτε εν τω μέλλοντι

Matthew 13:30

KJV: Let both grow together until the harvest and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers Gather ye together first the tares and bind them in bundles to burn them but gather the wheat into my barn

GK: άφετε συναυξάνεσθαι αμφότερα μέχρι του θερισμού και εν τω καιρώ του θερισμού ερώ τοις θερισταίς συλλέξατε πρώτον τα ζιζάνια και δήσατε αυτά εις δέσμας προς το κατακαύσαι αυτά τον δε σίτον συναγάγετε εις την αποθήκην μου

Matthew 13:36

KJV: Then Jesus sent the multitude away and went into the house and his disciples came unto him saying Declare unto us the parable of the tares of the field

GK: τότε αφείς τους όχλους ήλθεν εις την οικίαν ο Ιησούς και προσήλθον αυτώ οι μαθηταί αυτού λέγοντες φράσον ημίν την παραβολήν των ζιζανίων του αγρού

Matthew 15:14

KJV: Let them alone they be blind leaders of the blind And if the blind lead the blind both shall fall into the ditch

GK: άφετε αυτούς οδηγοί εισι τυφλοί τυφλών τυφλός δε τυφλόν εάν οδηγή αμφότεροι εις βόθυνον πεσούνται

Matthew 18:12

KJV: How think ye if a man have an hundred sheep and one of them be gone astray doth he not leave the ninety and nine and goeth into the mountains and seeketh that which is gone astray

GK: τι υμίν δοκεί εάν γένηταί τινι ανθρώπω εκατόν πρόβατα και πλανηθή εν εξ αυτών ουχί αφείς τα ενενήκοντα εννέα επί τα όρη πορευθείς ζητεί το πλανώμενον

Matthew 18:21

KJV: Then came Peter to him and said Lord how oft shall my brother sin against me and I forgive him till seven times

GK: τότε προσελθών αυτώ ο Πέτρος είπε κύριε ποσάκις αμαρτήσει εις εμέ ο αδελφός μου και αφήσω αυτώ έως επτάκις

KJV: Then the lord of that servant was moved with compassion and loosed him and forgave him the debt

GK: σπλαγχνισθείς δε ο κύριος του δούλου εκείνου απέλυσεν αυτόν και το δάνειον αφήκεν αυτώ

KJV: Then his lord after that he had called him said unto him O thou wicked servant I forgave thee all that debt because thou desiredst me

GK: τότε προσκαλεσάμενος αυτόν ο κύριος αυτού λέγει αυτώ δούλε πονηρέ πάσαν την οφειλήν εκείνην αφήκά σοι επεί παρεκάλεσάς με

Matthew 18:35

KJV: So likewise shall my heavenly Father do also unto you if ye from your hearts forgive not every one his brother their trespasses

GK: ούτως και ο πατήρ μου ο επουρανίος ποιήσει υμίν εάν μη αφήτε έκαστος τω αδελφώ αυτού από των καρδιών υμών τα παραπτώματα αυτών

Matthew 19:14

KJV: But Jesus said Suffer little children and forbid them not to come unto me for of such is the kingdom of heaven

GK: ο δε Ιησούς είπεν άφετε τα παιδία και μη κωλύετε αυτά ελθείν προς με των γαρ τοιούτων εστίν η βασιλεία των ουρανών

Matthew 19:27

KJV: Then answered Peter and said unto him Behold we have forsaken all and followed thee what shall we have therefore

GK: τότε αποκριθείς ο Πέτρος είπεν αυτώ ιδού ημείς αφήκαμεν πάντα και ηκολουθήσαμέν σοι τι άρα έσται ημίν

Matthew 19:29

KJV: And every one that hath forsaken houses or brethren or sisters or father or mother or wife or children or lands for my name’s sake shall receive an hundredfold and shall inherit everlasting life

GK: και πας ος αφήκεν οικίαν η αδελφούς η αδελφάς η πατέρα η μητέρα η γυναίκα η τέκνα η αγρούς ένεκεν του ονόματός μου εκατονταπλασίονα λήψεται και ζωήν αιώνιον κληρονομήσει

KJV: When they had heard they marvelled and left him and went their way

KJV: Now there were with us seven brethren and the first when he had married a wife deceased and having no issue left his wife unto his brother
