1. to leave, leave behind: one in some place, Tit 1:5 L T Tr WH; 2Ti 4:18; 2Ti 4:20. Passive ἀπολείπεται it remains, is reserved: Heb 4:9; Heb 10:26; followed by the accusative and an infinitive, Heb 4:6.
2. to desert, forsake: a place, Jud 1:6.
