1. a son of that Simon of Cyrene who carried the cross of Jesus: Mar 15:21.
2. a certain man of the kindred of the high priest: Act 4:6.
3. a certain Jew: Act 19:33.
4. a certain coppersmith, an opponent of the apostle Paul: 1Ti 1:20; 2Ti 4:14; (others doubt whether both these passages relate to the same man; cf. e. g. Ellicott on the former).
