Theological Framework and Interpretive Boundaries
The site states its theological commitments openly because no commentary is framework-free.
Framework
AI Bible Commentary is written from an explicitly conservative evangelical framework. It is not intended to be a neutral, liberal, progressive, Catholic, Orthodox, mainline, or secular academic platform.
The framework includes
- Scripture as the inspired, infallible, inerrant, and sufficient Word of God.
- Grammatical-historical interpretation.
- Conservative evangelical theology.
- A Free-Choice, non-Calvinist, conditional-security orientation.
- A moderate dispensational framework that distinguishes Israel and the Church without extreme fragmentation.
- A cautious continuationist view of the gifts of the Spirit.
- Rejection of liberal, progressive, neo-orthodox, anti-supernatural, and authority-undermining critical approaches.
Why this is stated openly
This theological framework is not hidden because no commentary is framework-free. The aim is to let readers know the interpretive commitments that govern the work.
Where Scripture is clear, the commentary should speak clearly. Where conservative interpreters disagree, the commentary should identify the issue honestly and avoid pretending that every question is settled.
