II. רַעְמָה, רַעְמָא (Gi^{Intr. 124 ff.} ) proper name, masculine 'son' of Cush, הָ֯ Gen 10:7 (twice in verse) = אָ֯ 1Chr 1:9 (twice in verse) (Baer, see his note; van d. H. Gi הָ֯ v^b); Ρεγχμα, Ρεγμα; הָ֯ as trading people Ezek 27:22, Ραμα, Ραγμα. Identified by many with city Ῥεγ(α)μα (Ptol^{vi. 7, 14}), Ῥηγμα (Steph. Byz.), in southeast Arabia, on Persian Gulf (so even DHM^{ZMG xxx (1876), 122} Glas^{Skizze ii.251, 325}), but this is [untranscribed source text 5132] in inscription (Glas^{ib. 252}); < Sabean רעֿמה near Me`în in southwest Arabia ( Hom^{Südar. Chr. 131} Hal^{535, 11}, compare DHM^l.c.), perhaps = Ῥαμμανῖται of Strabo^{xvi. 4. 24,} see Di ^{Gen 10:7} .
