מַ֫טָּה, מָ֑֫טָּה adverb downwards (from [מַט] for [מַטֶּה] a place of declension (compare נָטָה, 3. a.), with ָ ה locative, Ol222 b Köii. 280: compare the opposed to מַ֫עְלָהִ , below עָלָה): —
