Matthew 1:16

KJV: And Jacob begat Joseph the husband of Mary of whom was born Jesus who is called Christ

GK: Ιακώβ δε εγέννησε τον Ιωσήφ τον άνδρα Μαρίας εξ ης εγεννήθη Ιησούς λεγόμενος Χριστός

Matthew 1:18

KJV: Now the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise When as his mother Mary was espoused to Joseph before they came together she was found with child of the Holy Ghost

GK: του δε Ιησού Χριστού η γέννησις ούτως ην μνηστευθείσης γαρ της μητρός αυτού Μαρίας τω Ιωσήφ πριν η συνελθείν αυτούς ευρέθη εν γαστρί έχουσα εκ πνεύματος αγίου

Matthew 1:19

KJV: Then Joseph her husband being a just and not willing to make her a publick example was minded to put her away privily

GK: Ιωσήφ δε ο ανήρ αυτής δίκαιος ων και μη θέλων αυτήν παραδειγματίσαι εβουλήθη λάθρα απολύσαι αυτήν

Matthew 1:20

KJV: But while he thought on these things behold the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a dream saying Joseph thou son of David fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost

GK: ταύτα δε αυτού ενθυμηθέντος ιδού άγγελος κυρίου κατ΄ όναρ εφάνη αυτώ λέγων Ιωσήφ υιός Δαβίδ μη φοβηθής παραλαβείν Μαριάμ την γυναίκά σου το γαρ εν αυτή γεννηθέν εκ πνεύματός εστιν αγίου

Matthew 1:24

KJV: Then Joseph being raised from sleep did as the angel of the Lord had bidden him and took unto him his wife

GK: διεγερθείς δε ο Ιωσήφ από του ύπνου εποίησεν ως προσέταξεν αυτώ ο άγγελος κυρίου και παρέλαβε την γυναίκα

Matthew 2:13

KJV: And when they were departed behold the angel of the Lord appeareth to Joseph in a dream saying Arise and take the young child and his mother and flee into Egypt and be thou there until I bring thee word for Herod will seek the young child to destroy him

GK: αναχωρησάντων δε αυτών ιδού άγγελος κυρίου φαίνεται κατ΄ όναρ τω Ιωσήφ λέγων εγερθείς παράλαβε το παιδίον και την μητέρα αυτού και φεύγε εις Αίγυπτον και ίσθι εκεί έως αν είπω σοι μέλλει γαρ Ηρώδης ζητείν το παιδίον του απολέσαι αυτό

Matthew 2:19

KJV: But when Herod was dead behold an angel of the Lord appeareth in a dream to Joseph in Egypt

GK: τελευτήσαντος δε του Ηρώδου ιδού άγγελος κυρίου κατ΄ όναρ φαίνεται τω Ιωσήφ εν Αιγύπτω

Matthew 27:57

KJV: When the even was come there came a rich man of Arimathæa named Joseph who also himself was Jesus’ disciple

GK: οψίας δε γενομένης ήλθεν άνθρωπος πλούσιος από Αριμαθαίας τούνομα Ιωσήφ ος και αυτός εμαθήτευσε τω Ιησού

Matthew 27:59

KJV: And when Joseph had taken the body he wrapped it in a clean linen cloth

GK: και λαβών το σώμα ο Ιωσήφ ενετύλιξεν αυτό σινδόνι καθαρά
